Hadlow gets ready for 2015

Source: http://kitemovement.com/general/aaron-hadlow-and-the-2015-north-vegas/

The guys at North Kiteboarding, together with their amazing team rider, the 5X World Champ Aaron Hadlow are already prepared for the upcoming season. North released the 2014 gear line a few months ago, but it seems their development team knows no rest.

They are in a constant search of developing and creating the perfect gear. And they have been busy developing a new version of the Vegas for 2015. Aaron Hadlow and the guys at North were spotted at Langebaan, Cape Town, testing some prototypes of the 2015 North Vegas and North Dice.
The 2014 Vegas is a versatile, high depower C-kite, that offers out of this world freestyle and wakestyle performance. The 2015 Vegas also seems to be wakestyle and freestyle oriented C-kite, with a more elongated shape and a slightly rounder profile. The graphics are not yet set. We don’t know how the new kite will behave yet, but we have big expectations from North. You can check out a few pics of the 2015 Vegas prototype at the testing site below.

For the first time since 2001 The amazing 5xWorld champ Aaron Hadlow opens his eyes to some new possibilities. After having left Flexifoil kites (who had a line up named "The Hadlow brand") he sees that North kiteboarding can give him the power he is trying to find. Last month he was spotted in Langebaan (SA) testing North prototypes like the Dice, the Vegas and a 6 line kite that kiteboarders think it will be a Hadlow Pro Model. This is a very stunning notice in kiteboarding that could make North kiteboarding get used to freestyle and wakestyle podiums. For the north kiteboarding riders it means a new way of kiting, a new kite, a new style, a new Era.

OPINION:

I think that Hadlow has done well moving to north cause, flexi was a bit old now, and their security sistems were not reliable anymore. With moving to North and introducing the new kite concept 6-line mount he has given the amateur kitesurfers a chance to be able to get into the pro's world, by giving an easy to fly kite, with massive pop, and power release delay. I have tried it twice: the first time on lightwind and I got a very strange feeling because I went so high with a very "poor" pop. The second one was with a lot of wind and I found it easy. Pulled my first megaloops. Well, North guys have done a good job with this stuff. :)

Book review: "Muerte por funky"

Well, "Muerte por Funky" is a spanish book that explains the story of Joaquín Balboa AKA Eutanasio, who is a sicary that kills suicide victims who have not enough courage to kill themselves. He is also a fan of funky music and directs a group named Funktastic Four. This is his main motivation, doing a very big thing with his group.

This book explains as well the life's of the suicide victims. Maybe this book has risk factor for the author, because it tries to be funny and if you don't like it the first moment you will hate it and maybe stop reading it. My problem was this one when I read it, that I didn't like the humor so it went extremely long for me.I didn't like the arguments because for me was a "whole no-sense" compressed in 200 pages. But uh, what more could I say from a no-sense...

I haven't liked it at all cause I didn't like the humor basically. But I either liked the p`lot because I think that simplicity is very important in the books and you can just explain 2 lifes at the same time. If you explayn 5 different stories in every cahpter people gets lost and tired.

Albert Einstein and the relativity, a valuable theory.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/sci/albert-einstein/search=o?

SUMMARY:

Albert Einstein was a very important physicist of the last century. He wasn't really considered such as that smart man that we use to know. Einstein was a teacher in a university. All his studies went around time, its measure, its constancy even its reality. Although no one wanted to finnance Einstein's project he began trying new mathematical concepts, new ways of using our own theories. Perseverance paid off, and Einstein got to discover a relationship between energy, mass and light's velocity The famous "E=mc<exp>2". This theory says that bodies, at velocities close to the light's one begin to desintegrate, reduce its density, but even though they increase their mass. This can't be prooved with exactitude of course, so we can't get close to light's velocity but some resent experiments with hadrons sghow how this particles acquire mass while they get closer to light's velocity. But this is not the relativity theory, that is what everybody knows the name of. This last theory explains that time is not absolute. Time is not the same for everyone, that is a personal perception. It purposes that each of us sees different things and has different concepts. How could I explain it for you to understand it easily... Well, let's see: You see the coulours as you think they are right? Okay then, imagine another people who sees the coulours completely different than you do. Now imagine that this person recieves the same education than you. So he will think that the colours you see will be the same than he does because red (for him blue) will be red because he learned it like this, and you too. He doesn't know it because it's his reality, as you have yours or another person has his or hers. This is what relativity purposes: time is unstable, it responds to mathematic equations, and as faster you go, it passes slower. People who travels a lot has to readjust the watch constantly because it has a delay on it!

VOCABULARY:

Hadron: quantical particle with no mass that gets into a quark or a neutrine when interacts with a boson, it can be detected because it leaves mark on gamma radiations.

PERSONAL OPINION:

As it is a science article it's difficult to give a valuable opinion but I'll try. I can't really disagree, because if I doubt of this all my base in physics disappears. Maybe it's not prooved yet but in afew years think we can guess how to do a time freezing, this theory responds to it.

My favorite kiteboarder

My favorite rider is Youri Zoon.

He is favorite one because of he is the kindest and the most perseverant rider in the PKRA world tour (kiteboarding world championship). He is one of the kindest because he has given a lot of money from his 2 world championships to an association against kids bad treatment in netherlands. He is the most perseverant because in 2006 when he joined the PKRA competed 2 years and got 5th in the overall ranking. After that, in 2007, he got injured, a very complicated ACL in his knee. Doctors said that he may not be able to ever kite again. But family, friens and sponsors, knew that Youri would make his comeback. Then in 2009 Youri came back being 3rd on 2009 overall ranking. With this he made the most succesful comeback ever in the PKRA. 2 years later, Youri, wins every single competition out there only loosing on the doubles. In the last stop in the PKRA, Youri is very close to loose against his worst nightmare, Alex Pastor. Alex has not been able to beat him yet but in this competition things can change. In New Caledonia there are only 20kts of steady wind and lots of choppy in the bay, it doesn't look good... As a small miracle Youri makes it into the final against Alex Pastor. Youri knows what is going to happen if he doesn't make proffit of this opportunity so he makes the best trick sequence ever. Without getting hooked he does an s-mobe, a front blind mobe, and finally a kiteloop 9. Judges are amazed and give youri 42.5 points. Alex only getts 36.5. So Youri gets the Ultimate reward, the world championship.

He does a very hard workout between 2011 and 2012 season, so in 2012 he wins the world title again and he doesn't have the same supremacy but he wins the world title and Alex Pastor wants to win next year.

This year the competition has been leaded by Alex Pastor(who is the current world champion), Marc Jacobs(2nd in the overall) and finally Liam Whaley and Christoph Tack (they are currently fighting for the 3rd place in Argentina's PKRA stop). There is an upcoming talent in the youngster (according to my opinion), Patrick Blanc. This young rider is from Barcelona and is one of the best riders I've ever seen. He does a few tricks that amaze me: front mobe (his most powerful trick in my opinion), blindjudge 5 and tantrum to blind are my favorite tricks (he can do lots of tricks but these are the most amazing ones.

My favorite song in english

U2-Raised by Wolves

Face down on broken street
There’s a man in the corner
In a pool of misery
I’m in a white van
As a red sea covers the ground
Metal crash I can’t tell what it is
But I take a look and now I’m sorry I did
5:30 on a Friday night
33 good people cut down

I don’t believe anymore
I don’t believe anymore

Face down on a pillow of shame
There are some girls with a needle
Trying to spell my name
My body’s not a canvas
My body’s now a toilet wall

I don’t believe anymore
I don’t believe anymore

Raised by wolves
Stronger than fear
Raised by wolves
We were raised by wolves
Raised by wolves
Stronger than fear
If I open my eyes
You dissappear

I don’t believe anymore
I don’t believe anymore

Boy sees his father crushed under the weight
Of a cross in a passion where the passion is hate
Blue mink Ford, I’m gonna detonate and you’re dead
Blood in the house
Blood on the street
The worst tings in the world are justified by belief
Registration 1385-WZ

I don’t believe anymore
I don’t believe anymore

Raised by wolves
Stronger than fear
Raised by wolves
We were raised by wolves
Raised by wolves
Stronger than fear
If I open my eyes
You dissappear

This song from U2 talks about a terrorist attack that was done by adolescents. They had been convinced to do this by a terrorist band and at that moment thay were really scared. The song says that they were raised by wolves, what means a bit that their warrior and betrayer spirit impulsed them to do this. They putted a bomb car in the street and detonated it, killing with this a lot of innocent people. Bono, the U2's leader and singer said that the tittle of the album would be songs of innocence because songs would be related to things that affected innocent people. He also gave a lot of money to the affected families of each cause. This album has been released this 2014 and the peculiarity has been taht it has appeared in everybody's iTunes for free, what has given to U2 1,000,000 more followers in all the social networks.

Batxillerat

This year I have begun Batxillerat and I was really scared about how would things change and how much would it cost me to get adapted. In this sense I'm really impressed cause I've had very nice results. I'm trying to get adapted on some subjects yet but hard working I won't have complications. The biggest difference I've found is that last year I did almost nothing and I had the same marks I'm having (this year I'm working a lot). Something I don't like is that some people who study Batxillerat are not really concious that this is a serious period and we have to study as much as possible, and with their annoying interventions we get delayed. Don't know what more to say, maybe that my favorite subjects are Physics and Maths, and I've met new people who are becoming very important for me. Another thing I've noticed is that, as we grow up, we use to become mor social and we meet new friends without even noticing! But we also get worse in other things such as discipline, don't know if it's cause we feel we are old enough or just for any sort of mental problems. Well, at last say that I'm proud of being in batxillerat, and I'm also proud of all my friends cause some of them find it really difficult and with a bit of help they get very good results!

A kitesurfing accidental day

Last weekend I went to sail to La Palme (France), because I knew there was a good forecast there and I didn't want to lose such an oportunity. I left home at 9:30 A.M. and went straight to the frontier, where my friends and I stopped to get some food. I think I began feeling pain on my back by that moment. 45 minutes after, we got there, and there was no wind yet, so we mounted our basecamp and stayed joking until the wind became strong enough to have a nice session. At 12:00 AM more or less the wind picked up to 15 gnarly knots, that went up and down unconstantly. We decided to sail though, we where really desperated.

The first accident of the day happened when my friend Genis, (who is a bit silly sometimes)-sorry me if you read this- got lost in the worst part of the lagoon. La Palme is a lagoon surrounded by forests and when he wanted to investigate insider he didn't know how to come back. The thing is: the wind went down and we didn't know where he was, so we decided to go for him. After 1 hour of hard research we found him walking on the side of the road with the kite under the arm and dirty of mud! Well at least he wasn't hurt.

The second one was when my friend Carlos jumped and faceplanted his landing on his own car (nobody thought that this could happen but it did so...).

Then the third involved me and my back pain. I had been sailing the whole day and I hadn't almost felt any pain, but at 3:00 PM the wind picked up to 20 steady knots and I went straight into the water for having the sesh I hadn't had yet, and that happened, when i tried to do the backmobe i landed very hard and had an overstrectchment in my back. I couldn't take my shoes off, I was tied to the board and I couldn't move, I felt an intense pain. My friends took me out of the water how they could and brought me to the sand, when I was getting up to stay on foot I got stucked, I began feeling a lot of pain in my back and couldn't move. Oh shit, this is serious. We were a bit scared, I'm just 15. 15 year-old people don't get stucked on their backs. We went straight to the closest hospital where they gave me something that made me recover a bit of my movement.

This is a normal day of my weekends ;)

Kitesurf in Sant Pere Pescador, an endless pursuit.

In my village, there is a lot of sea culture. It includes the sea sports of course, but there is one that has never been accepted at all: Kitesurf.
The little minority of people who practice this sport is tired of having the same problems with the coasts department tear after year. We just want to sail but the mayor doesn't understand it. He has given interviews to many newspapers where he says that the decrease of beach tourism is our fault, for our incivism. We don't agree, of course no! There are just a few kiters that use to generate problems and they are: Tourists and learners. There are not many kiters that are ib this conditions cause most of the riders know the spot, and know what to do for not having any problems. It's not fair that we all have to pay for that. We just have 150m to sail over 8km of beach! Okey that it,s full but there are parts that are really empty and they don't give us any more meters. The problem with this kite zone is that we have to pay for it and it costs above 150€ for just 3 months! I'm really disappointed about this cause many people can't afford paying it and they need to kite, so they go to another zone which is ilegal, for this reason (that is not really our fault) we are considered the sea piracy.

"We did it because we didn't know it was impossible. We got it because we didn't stop givin' tries."

We hate ourselves. We cover us with shit, lots of shit, lots of our own shit. We avoid ourselves to do what we really want and why? Just for feeling safe. We don't know when will life stop giving us this juice, and instead of drinking it and enjoying it, we keep it and we let it caducate. We feel safe.

We tell lies to ourselves. We say that something is impossible without just giving it a try. That we are not ready to do something without even knowing what it is. That we are un useful for this and for that. We are scared. And of what? Aren't we the ones who control our lives? I don't think we are so clever if we put our own limits, let nature do this, why not? As Albert Einstein said "The only limitless magnitude is human stupidness". I agree. We put our limits because we are scared or we feel better like that and that's not ffair for the brave soul we all have inside us! And what are we scared of? Death? The only necessary thing for dying is being alive! So I think we can keep calm, it's far away yet. Help me to move this new ideology, let's stop putting limits, let's begin getting to the limit without knowing it. Let's begin drinking life's juice.

Psicologists say that human's minds are prepared to survive, to control the actions for allowing the human being to perdure as the dominant specie for long. And how long they wonder? The average human mind puts limits for security but what about that minority who try to beat their mind? Freud said that anybody that behaved like in a dream would be seen as stupid. But if we are happy dreaming, why not extrapolating that happiness to our current lifes? There are a lot of hypothesis of where happiness can be found but you are the only one who knows how getting them together.

Podcast: What's the best st[age]?

Vocaroo Voice Message

E-mail to my teacher :)

My name is Pau and I'm 15 years old. I'm a student of first Batxillerat and I've chosen the scientific speciallization. I've chosen this one because I'd like to study physics and mathematics in the university. You told us to send you an e-mail about our experience as English learners so this is what I'm about to do now.

I began to study english when I was three. By that age I began learning to count from 1 to 10 and to say some easy words. I began studying the first verbs at 1rst of primary, where I learnt the verb "to be" and the verb "have". Little by little I learnt more and more verbs, and I also learned some tenses. When I was 9 I did my first past tenses, and when I was 11 I began with the future. In 1st ESO I learned the conditionals(1st, 2nd and 3rd) and in 2nd I learnt the passive voice that was really easy for me (I've never reached to understand why). In 2012 I travelled abroad for the first time. I was young, alone and afraid of leaving home for no more and no less than ONE MONTH!!!! In Ireland I improved a lot, I almost reached the local basic speaking level and succesfully passed the B2.1 exam. That trip was like a "click" for me because there was where I got my level of English that I've been improving very slowly since then. From 3r ESO to now i haven't improved my level very much. Even though I'm very proud of my it.

My future plans for English learning are studying and speaking a lot for reaching the CAE level and being able to pass this exam.

Thanks for your attention.

The F****ng MAT

The MAt is an electrical setting that the government thinks that is necessary to have. For me it's just an amount of shit because of it's visual pollution. From here I see 7 towers that are 30km away!! Can't believe that this is finally the way we do the things and I'm so disappointed about it. I think we could have stayed in the old setting and not trying to break the beautiful earth. And the worst of this is that lots of forests have been destroyed and lots of fields have been expropiated being paid with very poor amounts of money that make the familys get poor. Can't believe this finally happened, I have to say I hoped more comprehension from the human being. The last thing I thought I would see is this. I'm very sad and hope all of you understand why.

I allow you to see some pics of it:

A "love" song!

Breezeblocks - AltJ

She may contain the urge to run away
But hold her down with soggy clothes and breezeblocks
Cetirizine, your fever's gripped me again
Never kisses, all you ever send are fullstops
Do you know where the wilds things go
They go along to take your honey
Break down, now weep, build up, breakfast
Now let's eat, my love, my love love love

Muscle to muscle and toe to toe
The fear has gripped me, but here I go
My heart sinks as I jump up
Your hand grips hand as my eyes shut

Do you know where the wild things go
They go along to take your honey
Break down, now sleep, build up, breakfast
Now let's eat, my love, my love love love
She bruises, coughs, she splutters
Pistol shots hold her down with soggy clothes and breezeblocks
She's morphine, queen of my vaccine, my love, my love love love

Muscle to muscle and toe to toe
The fear has gripped me, but here I go
My heart sinks as I jump up
Your hand grips hand as my eyes shut

She may contain the urge to runaway
But hold her down with soggy clothes and breezeblocks
Germoline disinfect the scene, my love, my love love love

But please don't go, I love you so
My lovely

Please don't go, Please don't go
I love you so, I love you so
Please don't go, Please don't go
I love you so, I love you so
Please break my heart

Please don't go, Please don't go
I love you so, I love you so
Please don't go, Please don't go
I love you so, I love you so
Please break my heart

Please don't go, I'll eat you whole
I love you so, I love you so, I love you so
Please don't go, I'll eat you whole
I love you so, I love you so, I love you so

This song talks about to people who love each other but they hate each other at the same time. It's all about how discussions are an important part of love as well. This song inspires me and motivates me, I'm on love with its rythim and I think you'll enjoy it too!

Riding with Kiteexperience

Although I'm not 16 yet, I have began to colaborate with a sport club in my hometown. Its name is kiteexperience and by the moment I ride the kites they lend me and the ones I own. What I have began doing is helping them in whatever they ask me for. I use to get there at 10 o'clock in the weekends and open the store. More or less at 1 o'clock I leave to the beach and have a session of 2-4 hours maximum depending on the wind there is. Once I finish I come back to the store and clean all the wetsuits, harnesses and casks of the people who has began at that day with the instructors Edu and Jordi. When I finish, I help Alba, my workmate, to do whatever. I use to help her with the kites and boards selling and she helps the customers with the clothes, wetsuits, and a lot of things I would never be able to do. At 6 o'clock in the afternoon the store has to be closed. I help her to bring everything to the mall, where we keep everything. My work mates are:

-Edu: Is the one I know better because I have had lots of experiences with him this winter. I have saved him a pair of times ans he has saved me too! I hope we keep working together until I go to the university. He works as an instructor.

-Jordi: He is an instructor as well. He is a very awesome kiter and an even better surfer! I have never met nobody with his experiences on waves, if I have questions about anything I  ask him and he always knows what is better for me and the things I have to do to improve my riding.

-Alba: As I've said before she is the girl who attends the store, and she always helps me in whatever I need, even if I have to repare or if I have to do anything else!

-Xevi: He is not always in kiteexperience but when he comes we all like to see him riding or teaching. He is the most experienced rider I know, he is named "Legend" by some kitesurfers. He loves riding with over 50kts of wind (more than 100 km/h) and he flies more than anyone I know!! It's awesome to be able to learn with him, he knows everything about kiteboarding!!

-Sergi and Mar: They are the owners of kiteexperience and they are very kind people. They have been riding for ages, and ther level increases everytime they sail. They have also travelled a lot and they know plenty of places where to surf, kite or SUP!! It's very nice to have bosses like them because you always feel comfortable.

Summarizing: I couldn't be happier with my workmates and the nice feeling I have there is amazing!

I let you a link for seeing how Xevi flies!

Enjoy!!

My new gear, North kites

From this week on I'll change my way and my style of riding because I'll be riding on the 2014 brand new kite, the North Dice! I'll explain you a bit my new gear and why I have changed my gear's brand. Hope that if everything is alright I'll stay on this brand a few years.

During the year I've been riding I've been focused on tricks, airs and waves trying like this to improve my skills as an allround rider. This and the help of some friends has brought me to choose this brand that hopefully will make me progress a lot and make new and amazing tricks. From now on I'll ride on:

The Dice:
North's most versatile kite with a huge windrange and a lot of capabilities in freestyle and waves. It's construction for 2014 features the adaptive tip which is the north's system to help you to ride your kite in your perfect setting. The dice includes 2 settings:

-The hard setting: I use this setting to give more power to my tricks and having an optimum slack for having smooth and stable landings. It also has more lift and more bar pressure which is good for freeride in general.

-The soft setting: I have used this setting always I have wanted to go for a wave riding session because it Improves kite drift and travel while it's depowered. It makes the bar feel smoother and the kite be more reactive. It has not as much lift but it lets you have comfortable rides with gusty and strong winds.
The Gambler:
This is the hardest board in the whole range, for 2014 it features teh Quattro V channel what helps you to have a more explossive pop out of the water or for getting a bit more grip on high winds. For this year the base comes reinforced for going to the cable park or even for riding finless on kickers and rails. The gambler has been my choice because it's the bes board for an allround riding, it can be ridden on flat water or in choppy conditions just by changing the finsizes (3.5, 2.5 or finless).

Describing a pic: M82's Supernova

Probably most of the people who don't know anything about astronomics don't know why this pic is special and unforgettable for the ones who have seen it using the telescope. The picture I've chosen is the 2014J supernove in M82, the "cigar" galaxy.

As you've seen there is a lightpoint close to the galaxy's center. You'll problaly think that this pic is awful or that it has no sense to put it here. You'll also think that it tis a star, but I'll tell you that it isn't, it WAS. It's so amazing to see how the explosion enlights more than the whole M82. This explosion will probably become a superhuge blackhole in a few millions of years that will make the galaxy disappear. Well, stars and objects won't disappear, the things that are going to disappear are photons, the subatomic particles that create the light. This has been very important for astrophysics. We think that is the only huge supernova that will be seen this generation (25 years).

For me this photo is so striking because when I see this I think about how huge is the universe nd how small we are. The milky way is nothing compared to M82. The milky way has a yellow light spectrum, what means that most of the galaxy is made of medium or small size stars with lifes of 4000 milions of years of life remaining, and then we see M82 with its blue light, what mens that is made of superultramegahuge stars of sizes we would never imagine and light intensitys that would burn the most resistable elements of our earth. For me is so romantic to see the night's landscape so that's all  what this pic inspires me.

Berliner experience

We took off on tuesday 22nd March above more or less 1PM and we landed at 3:30PM. After that a kind bus driver brought us to the hostel that was the place where we lived during our long trip. When we got into the hostel we rested there for more or less half an hour before beggining walking to the closest bus stop. Once there we caught the 100E bus to go to the Brandenburgen Tor stop, that was were we saw the Brandenburg's door and most of us visited Dunkin' Doughnuts for the first time. Some of us saw the Reichstag as well, It was SO big!
After taking some pics we went to the books burn dedicated monument by foot. When we had already taken a few pics of it, we left and we went to Maredo's (was the f****ng restaurant were we had to eat because it was compulsory).

At night everything was very funny, we did lots of jokes to our friends and to the other rooms!
The organising of the days was almost the same one but with different monuments on each day.

We saw: The Sachsenhaussen Field, The TV tower, The Kaiser Wilhem church, The Berliner Zoo, The Wall and lots of things!!

Summarizing, I had a really great time that I'll never forget! So, hope you all can visit Berlin once in your life!

Marthaussën Speech

Two people with a dark past came on tuesday for making us understand what were the nazi ideas like. They told us that jew people were not the only ones who suffered in the Hitler times. Spain was a very hostile place on 1939. The war had just ended and the republican politicians were bannished from Spain. General and "caudillo" by that time Francisco Franco told Hitler that there were no Spanish people out from Spain. So, Hitler caught as many republicans as he could and made them be treated like jews. Their fathers left Spain on 1939 and went to France. Unluckily France had just been invaded by Hitler's troops and unluckily as well they were caught and brought to the Marthaussën. One of those man was very weak for the hunger and the cold so he went directly to the gas chamber. The other one was brutally murdered a year after by a gasoil injection directly to the heart. They told us what they knew about the life in Marthausën. Nazi's were (with no pardon) a group of sons of b**ches. They threatened them constantly and they governed them with the horror and the pain. They chose random people diarily to kill them by different ways. All of that killing ways were brutal and they involved a lot of pain. The field was built for having 3000 people inside it, and it was occuped for 15000 people. Nazis didn't left the write to their families until 1943, 2 years before the end of all that shit. One of the two people who came had the first letter that his father wrote them before going to the field, when he was still in prison. He tried to read it but he couldn't, there were so many feelings on that fragile piece of paper, too much stories, too much interrogants,.... He could just read the last sentence that was the only thing he has always been thinking about for the last 60 years, the last sentence was "I'm afraid they're going to bring us to somewhere, but I can't explain it to you, otherwise I wouldn't be able to send this letter". His mother thought the worst, and unfortunately she probably guessed. I asked them what did they feel the first time they went to Marthaussën field, and they answered that the first thing that came to their heads was "my father stepped this stairs, he was burned in here and murdered in there...". Their eyes were wet while they pronnounced those words, they were very corageous to share that with us. After that dy, they visited the field every year, and they made a monument for the thousands of Spanish people that had been murdered in there. They have never had any suport from the government, and they have never complained about nothing. The only politicians that did something for them were Jordi Pujol, who went there twice with her wife, and Jose Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, who went there once as well. There are two flgs in the monument: the republican one and the normal one. They say that if people who dead there were republicans their souls ight lie under their flags.

Romeo & Juliet- Differences between the book and the film.

1.SETTING: The film takes place in Verona Beach while the book takes it in Verona City. There are lots of modern settings in the film like the change between swords and guns. They wear beach clothes instead of armors and they have a more serious fight, because gun's wounds are somtimes worse than sword's ones.

2.IMAGERY: The film is very nice in this sense because it plays with the metaphors like begginings with sunrises or ends with nights, etc. The Verona city is like a very wide street with Montagues in a side and Capulets in the other One. The metaphor in here is that the Redemptor Jesuschrist appears in the middle of both buildings.

3.LANGUAGE: Most of the characters talk on verse because it's more romantic, and they make the public feel a bit confused sometimes!! hahahaha!

4.THE FANCY DRESS PARTY: Well what can I say? Romeo is the prince of an angel! I think that that's all folks!

5.ELEMENTS: The new version features cars instead of horses, cannabis instead of god, and guns instead of swords! It's a very rare way to do the think but it's OK in my opinion don't you think?

My kite gear

Well, today I'll explain you what kind of kite gear do I use and why:

AS A KITE:

I ride on the airush razor because of its explosive power and it's hability for riding on light wind. This is a really nice kite for frestyling because of its close c-shape. The fact it is a c-shape is good for three things:

1.-It slacks after the trick letting you have a solid and soft landing making like this easier the tricks learning.

2.-It has 5 lines instead of 4 and it helps you to relaunch your kite faster, safer and easier.

3.-It's shape at maximum power pulls you up and let's you have more airtime for having the opportunity of landing more tricks.

AS A BOARD:

I use the livewire 135cm because although it is a bit more technical to ride it makes me develope all my habilities when rotating, landing huge jumps or just riding on gusty winds. I ride it on boots because I think it is the best way to ride it. My setting for this board is 30mm fins and lots of fun for the ride!

AS BOOTS:

I use the liquid force ultra ct because they're pretty warm and they help me to be cleaner when moving or landing new tricks. They are very nice for poppinc thanks to its hard flex in the front of the boot.

AS A WETSUIT:

I use the ion onyx because it is the most flexible wetsuit I've ever used and it's very warm as well. Its ventilation system makes your body use it's hot and sharing it with the coldest parts of your body, for example: If your chest is hotter than your legs, the hot gets into the legs by the ventilation system. This year, it includes the anti smell system that guarantees that although it's wet it doesn't smell. This year has won the award to the top selling wetsuit in the watersports market.

AS A HARNESS:

I use the ion apex because it's very soft and comfortable, it's thermomoulded scum let's your back adapt to it making it get closer to your body making it safer against vertebral injuries. It's very grateful when I ride on gusty winds like tramontana because it minimizes the risk of having some muscular problems. Its new system of non sliding makes it get adjusted to your body easier than other harness models.

My favorite kite team

My favorite kite team is Airush Kites. I like their team cause I think they have 4 of the best riders of the whole world:

Alex Pastor

Alex Pastor

Age: 23
Lives: Tarifa, Spain
Kiting Since: 2003
Airush Since: 2010
Favourite discipline: Wakestyle/ Freestyle
Kite: Razor Team
Board: Livewire 140
Favourite spot: Tarifa and Cauipe
Other Sponsors: MINI, Multipower Sportsfood, ION
Best Result: 1st Pkra Fuerte, Italy, France and Morocco 2013 - 3x Vice World Champion
What music do you like: Rock, hip hop, indie, reggae, electronic...
What do you do when there is no wind: gym, watch tv, work, cook, hang out with family and friends...

The best rider in the world in this moment because of his performance in 2013 that made him get the world tittle. Although he won, he had two close and great rivals: Youri Zoon (who got injured in the 5th stop of the world tour) and Carlos Mario (who could only assist to the last stop of the tour because he hadn't got enough money to go to the rest of stops). Pastor rode better the whole year, he improved a lot from 2013 to 2014 getting like this the throne of kiteboarding. He rides on the Airush Razor as kite, and on the Airush livewire as board.

A video from him:

Bruna Kajiya

Bruna Kajiya

Age: 26
Lives: São Paulo, Brazil
Kiting Since: 2002
Airush Since: 2012
Favourite discipline: Freestyle baby
Kite: Airush Razor
Board: Livewire 135
Favourite spot: Uruau, Brazil
Other Sponsors: Red Bull, Mystic
Best Result: 2009 World Champion, 2010, 2011 & 2012 Vice World Champion.
What music do you like: Mainly chill music, right now I listen a lot to the Album “Into the Wild” by Eddie Vedder
What do you do when there is no wind: Anything fun, but my first option is a good surf session.

Although she has won only just one world tittle, in my opinion she's ready to get another one this year. This young brazilian rider got in airush because Gisela Pulido (10x world champion) left the team on 2012. Airush needed another powerful and stylish rider, and Bruna was up to do that job. The first year was nice for Bruna, she ended up 2nd in the world championship, the next one she got second too but with better results. This year, she got injured in the 5th stop, like Youri Zoon, so she didn't finish competing last season. She rides on the airush Razor as kite and on the airush livewire as board.

A video from her:

Bas Koole

Bas Koole

His name in the Dutch kiteboarding scene has resonated to the point where Bas Koole has become a media powerhouse. Developing his craft throughout the world, Bas gets the shots. He doesn’t stop after the camera is put away. The 2010 and 2011 Dutch Champion is notorious for being one of the riders to watch during the session.
Age: 27
Lives: Workum / Emmeloord
Kiting Since: 2003
Airush Since: 2009
Favourite discipline: Freestyle
Kite: Varial X
Board: Livewire 140
Favourite spot: Cauipe / Workum
Other Sponsors: Prolimit
Best Result: Yearly cover on the Kiteworld and 2010 Dutch Freestyle Champion
What music do you like: Rap / Indie / Club
What do you do when there is no wind: Video editing and wake boarding

This rider is one of the most tehnical and more polifacetic riders of the Airush team, he is able to ride in all the conditions, he is able to do from big airs to freestyle to a PKRA level. Now he is a PKRA judge, and I think is the best place he could be at. People says that he is a good judge because he is not focused on powerful techniques at all, he still likes stylish riders as Aaron Hadlow or Alberto Rondina. He rides on two kinds of kites and two kinds of boards: his kites are the razor and the Varial X, and his boards are the livewire and the protoy.

A video from him:

Bear Karry

Bear Karry

Born and bred in the heart of the surf culture capital of the world. California based Bear Karry is no stranger to wind and waves. Growing up as a surfer, Bear combines strapless freestyle surf and down the line riding to present a well-rounded type of riding. Bear’s talent allows him to try and land new tricks almost instantly.
Age: 22
Lives: Santa Barbara, California, USA
Kiting Since: 2006
Airush Since: 2010
Favourite discipline: Surf
Kite: Wave
Board: Converse
Favourite spot: Lakey Pipe
Other Sponsors: Prolimit
Best Result: 1st Cape Verde Expression Session
What music do you like: All music.
What do you do when there is no wind: Shoot guns

This wave rider is one of the best ones in the world, he has a lot of style going down the waves and he likes to stay in the tube of the wave. Bear is a very good rider because of his technical level and he is currently riding on the Airush Wave, which is one of the most technical kites in the market. He uses two kinds of board: The Airush Compact and the Airush Cypher, that alow him to ride in almost all the conditions.

PERSONAL OPINION
My personal opinion about this story is that is not necessary to create a trauma in the reader. If instead of having committed suicide they had survived in extremiss it would have been less thraumatic. So I think I have said enough about what do I think. Keep tuned for next posts!!

Valentine's Day

Today is Valentine's day, so we have done a special class with free games, videos, etc. I haven't really found nothing interesting to write about so, I will write about the Valentine's day and what is it for me.

For me, the 14th of February is a day that may be nice for couples, but, what about single people? What about people who was not been able to find love or to find somebody to be in love with? I think is an evil day for 'em. They might be depressed, they might feel miserable when going out the street and seeing all those happy couples walking by the hand... I wouldn't like to be them... but for all the rest Valentine's day is a nice day with surprisesfor somepeople and lots of love declarations. :)

Check out my crossword and my nice cake!

A love quote!

“It’s one thing to fall in love. It’s another to feel someone else fall in love with you, and to feel a responsibility toward that love.”

––Every Day by David Levithan

I chose this one because I think like this man. To fall in love is one thing, is more for you than for the other person but it's important. Another thing is to have somebody in love with you and don't fall in the temptation of using her, cause it is evil and may be forbidden!!!  And of course, you have the key of the happiness of that person so I think you have the responsability to tell her what you feel because if you don't, the other person can have illusions. As more time you wait, longerwill b the pain for the other person.
