Film review: Deadpool

Deadpool is a superheroes comedy filmed by MARVEL, probably the most famous brand of superheroes around the world.

The film is about a man, Wade Wilson who earns money as a mercenary. He defines himself as an asshole who tries to fuck up the lives of other assholes (more than him). What moves him to do everything is a girl he meets one night. Her name is Vanessa and she is a prostitute, but they are so compatible that a relationship starts from the day they meet each other. A few months after, Wade is diagnosed a terminal cancer with affections in the whole body, and he agrees to join a secret non goverment controlled program to cure himself from cancer. During this provess he has to be tortured for making the cure effective, and he develops a special hate against the doctor (Francis) who makes himself be called as Ajax. Well, they hate each other.

During one of the torture methods, Wade's mutation becomes real but his skin turns really strange making him "unfuckable" (exact words). He escapes from the center because Francis tells him that it's not only a cure, it's the rising of superheroes or as he says, superslaves. In a brutal fight the place explodes and Wade is meant to be dead, but he survives. From that point with his new deadly abilities, his life focuses on finding Francis, making him solve the ugly face and then killing him.

As you can see this isn't a very normal superheroes plot, but this is what has made it being so successful. I didn't really liked the film because of the weak plot, really. But I have to admit that I laughed a lot, and it's really funny because it criticises many aspects of the superheroes film in a farcy way. The end is predictable, he kills Francis and kisses the girl. This is Marvel's topic film (except the X.men where Wolverine never finished with a girl). I don't really think that an exhaustive critical stuff can be done with this film because it's so simple that it  doesn't allow you to do so. This time, I won't recommend it to anyone. It's not worthy for spending 7€ in the cinema.
